Anyway, sainsburies have 50% off ALL toys from today for a few days.. not sure when it runs out.

I went down this morning at 7am and there were loads of brilliant bargains including:

I got there when the store opened and there was plenty so had my pic, but staff were all grabbing stuff they wanted, so think stuff will go quickly. It is on for a few days though, so i'm sure they will be restocking!

Advertised in the Sun newspaper this morning. This really is a fantastic offer!!! From big pressies to tiny stocking fillers!! Bacically any 'toy'!!!

Also some great half price food offers... eg Coco Pops, Olive oil and my fave sirloin steak at just over £7 a kg!!!

I managed to get quite a few things of my sons xmas list -

Ben 10 figures from 8 down to 4
Ben 10 omnitrix from 16 to 8
Ben 10 transforming alien rocks 4 to 2
WWE deluxe aggression from 10 to 5 ( series 14 think had others)
WWE ruthless aggression 6 to 3( series 29, 30 + 31)

There wasnt a lot of Ben 10 items on shelf but a very nice young man went in the back + brought out lots for me and on the shelf so its worth asking.

These were from the smaller Leigh branch.
Now all I have to do is wrap them all up:rotfl:

The Ben 10 omi thingy is the new advanced one.

Other good deals Guess Who game £2.47, Lego half price and playmobil.

I bought nearly all me presents for my kids and the other kids in my family. Lots more going out on teh shelves than last year.

Does anyone know if you are allowed to redeem nectar points when buying their half price toys? I've had a nectar card a couple of years now and used it today instore (i normally always forget to take it) and i have checked my balance online and i have just over 3000 points, it would be great if I could redeem them in the toy sale

dont see why not. the toys scan automatically at the reduced price - it doesnt show as a reduced price on your receipt like the clothes do.

i'd try it. (just a thought though, dont you have to programme your nectar card to be accepted in a named store? years since i did mine - i spend it in argos!)

Thanks for your reply I just read that on the nectar site that if you haven't used your card in a particular store then you must use your card in that store 48 hours before you intend to redeem, I used it last week or the week before when i was in and bought some fireworks so it should be allright although the points earned then are not showing up on statement hmmmmmm :eek: i wonder how long it should take to show up, it would be just my luck for it all to go wrong :mad: I'll deffo give it a go though and make sure i have plenty money on me just incase lol
