M&S gift vouchers useable at Tescos

My apologies if this has been asked before but can anyone tell me if it is possible to use M&S gift vouchers at face value as payment for goods in a Tescos store ?

I guess that depends on whether you class M&S as a supermarket - as far as I know they only accept Sainsbury's ones, but it would be useful to know...There is no need to run outside

I'm not a 100% sure but think that you can't use anyone's gift vouchers or loyalty vouchers anywhere else (like Tesco wouldn't take your Nectar vouchers, for instance). Money-off vouchers are different.
Might be wrong though...
