Sorry if this is the wrong board

Has anyone ever used AdditionsDirect.co.uk before? Would you rate them? I have seen some negitive reviews on the internet and was wondering what experiences people have had with them?

I used them once - never again - ordered an item and paid by debit card over the phone - the person taking the order was convinced my address was slightly different to what it actually is - told them the correct address several times. item wasn't delivered when they said it would be, they then tried to deliver the item to a neighbour despite the neighbour giving them the same address for me as I had and saying I didn't live at the address they were trying to deliver to. The neighbour offered to take the delivery and pass on to me and they refused - she pointed to where I lived - a matter of yards away, can be seen form the house they were trying to deliver to - they refused to try to deliver to the correct address - two phone calls were made to try to get the item delivered - on each occassion the staff were extremely rude and questioned I was actually who I said I was and that I lived where I said I did and treated me as if I was lying - said the delivery had been cancelled and that I would have to send proof of my address and open a new account - I didn't want an account in the first place - the item had been paid for in full when i ordered. The money had been taken from my account - on a different date to the one i had been told, was told it had already been reimbursed - it hadn't. they did refund my account but I would never shop with them again. I do most of my shopping mail order - and never a problem. - have heard a lot of negative reports about them since.

I use additionsdirect alot and ive never had any problems with them atall, Id say ive being using them for around 2 years now and not once had any problems, Ive ordered mainly clothing and household bits all smooth transactions, their delivery has always been quick to.
