This has 36% basil and 5% parmesan and tastes great. It is 44.3% fat

I had hydroponic basil growing last summer, so I was able to make quite a bit of pesto. The recipe I made said to use 2 cups of firmly-packed basil leaves. Curious, I counted how many leaves of Sweet Basil that meant. I believe that I counted 200 leaves per cup of basil. This allowed for about 3 medium-sized bowls of pasta pesto. So plant a lot of the basil( quoted from some nutty cooking site?)

so im guessing around 60 leaves???????

Ha ha, having no idea at all, I guessed 57 ( I honestly thought it could be anything fom about 3 to 3000) so if you think 60 I'm quite chuffed at my origional guess!
