Hey Everyone,
Just wondered if any of you guys have read Rich Dad Poor Dad?
If you havent I totally recommend it!
Its the most inspirational book ever!
A few years ago I went travelling and I worked for a marketing company in Australia. My job was signing people up for monthly donations for Oxfam in shopping centres etc! One day I pitched a guy and he started telling me all about this book and how it changed his life! its all about how not to work for your money but how to let your money work for you. It teaches you how to avoid debt and about investing etc
This might sound cheesy but the book is amazing, it has made me look at everything to do with my money so different ever since!
I totally recommend it if you have never read it!

Ive read it and actually met the author a few years ago. It is a good read and the board game is good fun too. Costs a blinking fortune though!! Thats how he makes his money!!
The biggest thing I think I learned (or at least information went in although I did nothing about it) is how to create income streams so that you have money coming in no matter what the global economy or how the market fares. There is an emphasis on stock market too which I just cant get my head around and also a push to aquire property which is a great idea but possibly why our economy has taken such a dive? People borrowing more than they should to try and fund the desire for more?
I would love to see a UK version brought out as I do get a bit confused sometimes but hey, thats just me.DFW 228 LONG H 68
