Shoot-Out Trading Card Starter Packs??

Can anyone advise who has stock of this latest craze - our kids have managed to clear out both our local newsagents of packs of cards, but want this pack which includes a box for the cards and various other bits and has a rrp of £4.99. I refuse to buy at such inflated prices off ebay!!!

Anyone seen one on their travels - i guess they would be in the magazine section of shops??

Hi, my son has got these as they have been the latest craze for the last few months. If you go into your newsagent they should be able to order you a pack, I know WH Smith had them in last week and also a newsagent had quite a few of them. These were in Bolton town centre, hope that helps.

  • My son has had one of these since October and he seems to be the only one in his class/school who is collecting. He is costing me a fortune with buying packs of cards. Does anyone know if there is any sort of trading/swapping forum for these. He's even asked for "a whole box" of cards for xmas !!! I somehow think Santa will not have enough room on his sleigh....

    I'd appreciate any tips

  • Hi, I work at a newsagents and we are having massive problems getting any of the starter packs in stock. We haven't had any since mid November.

WHSmith (wholesalers for the majority of newsagents) are long sold out and we have had to source the cards from speciality card dealers who themselves have been taking a fortnight to get any to us.

Supposedly the problem is that they are printed in Spain and they take a long time to be shipped. Who knows though!
  • I have already PM ed the other posters on this thread who have indicated that they may like to swap duplicates.

I have now completed a list of the cards my son has outstanding (about 100!!) and our large list of duplicates.

We would welcome anyone who wishes to do some one-for-one swaps, each paying our own postage.

Would be pleased to receive a PM from anyone interested. Many thanks.
