Hi guys and girls,
This is just a quick question before i put my whole situation down later.
I have been recommended to take a DMP by the CCCS (great help so far - thanks!), but split from my ex about 2 years ago, and we had a £3800 overdraft at the time. I have got this down to £1800 but I spoke to the Halifax at the time and they said i wouldn't be able to take her off until i was in credit, which is now looking less and less likely to happen before I officially go and accept the DMP.
I obviously don't want her name on the account when i take out the DMP as she may then be liable?
Transferring the debt just not an option at this point.
Any advice?

Unfortunately there is not much you can do - is the debt actually all yours as you have paid of £2000 it would seem that she should be liabile for some?
If you are still on reasonable terms you do need to warn her of the situation if you arelooking to repay the debt yourself.0 -
you are both severally and jointly liable.
when you go on the DMP they will pursue her for the full debt.0
