Hi
Just a quick question (got my worrying head on again)
If a car was made exempt originally (have the letter from the OR saying so) can they at a later date deem that it is too expensive to run and "unexempt" it or is the original decision final?
thx

Hi,
Our car was made exempt and we recently were offered money as a gift by my Father-in-law to enable us to change the car to a diesel. We are not discharged yet and decided we should consult the OR about whether the new car would be lifted as part of the BR because it would be worth more.He stated that when the car was made exempt,it is up to us what we do with it and no subsequent car would be taken as part of the BR.So I wouldnt worry xBR~22/05/08
