Indeed it does. No need to shout, it's just the internet.
BTW why are you showing us a graph that is 12 months old? Why not bring it up to date? or will that show a different picture?'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. A single market without barriers visible or invisible giving you direct and unhindered access to the purchasing power of over 300 million of the worlds wealthiest and most prosperous people' Margaret Thatcher0 -
Yes - bit of a giveaway I thought.
I thought it was.
I have always thought they were the same one since Realy arrived. DitheringDad was having an argument with someone. Then he suddenly got nice and the new poster (first post?) Realy arrived and had a go at the poster DitheringDad had been arguing with. DitheringDad said to the poster he had been arguing with "ignore him" and then he declared he was off to catch a train. - as if to say...the new poster can't be me as I'm not here.
DitheringDad use to post a lot on this board every day, but now he doesn't and Realy posts a lot on here.0 -

You must be completly bonkers if you think 100% mortgages are needed.Only a fool would borrow at that rate and only Banks that want to go bust will allow them to happen.0 -

what a perfect coincidence that !!!!!! is getting proved wrong in a discussion and one of those posters with just 61 posts appears to take the thread off topic and defend him... what perfect timing!!!
the same thing happened yesterday - i'm getting very embarassed for him now...0 -

Here's another one covering until present (looks a bit garish though) from the Skipton Building Society and it doesn't make clear which of the 3 rates they are talking about (maybe an amalgamation somehow):
http://www.skipton-intermediaries.co.uk/product_details/graph.asp
Sterling LIBOR started to widen Jul/Aug 07 but almost came back by Dec 07 before widening again.
Dollar LIBOR followed base rates quite closely until Mar 08 - Bear Stearns - then it widened a lot but stayed constant until Aug/Sep 08 when it absolutely split.
I'd say it supports my claim that the real cost of borrowing diverged from CB rates a year ago back in the case of Sterling (and at least 6 months ago in the case of the dollar).--
Every pound less borrowed (to buy a house) is more than two pounds less to repay and more than three pounds less to earn, over the course of a typical mortgage.0 -

I think Realy was created to rile mewbie, from what I remember. Anyway, he's joined DD on my ignore list now (though I reserve the right to peek and reply sometimes)
Now - what is the strange relationship between Chucky and Topov I wonder....?--

I have 62 posts. I'm a psychology student plus I work, so I don't get a lot of time to post.
Tell me why you think that everyone that doesn't agree with your viewpoint, must be the same poster using different user names?0
