Well, the significance is that there have been several threads about auctions not selling one property - let alone over 600 - or that the prices had plummetted.
I thought it would be of genuine interest to everyone to get a balanced view.0 -

it is thanks
notice the flat referred to in a previous thread on for a guide of £10k sold for £41.5k0 -
Yes, saw that. So much for £10k price and it was a rat hole at that!
NB Nearly 700 lots in the allsop sale.0 -
Most of them are untraceable. I can't find them on Land Registry to get a "bought for/when" price/date. So after I checked/couldn't see about 6 I stopped bothering.0

You checked 6 PN and say thats most of them0

Thanks for posting that OP - very interesting....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0

very interesting most of them have sold but are most of them repossessions???
If they are do the creditors not set a reserve? or do they just get as much as they can?
Obviously if you were a private seller and you put your property through a auction you would set a reserve, but if they are reposessions dont the banks want claw as much money back as they can?
just had another look and thought i would add this, this was the first one i looked at and it looks like some has just bought a bargain.
This house went for 129.000 pound now if you search the postcode TW13 6UE the last time houses where sold down this road in the last 2 years were for just over 200,000 pounds.
So it looks like there are some bargains, its nearly 40% off the 2007's prices, i bet the people who bought last year will be gutted when they find out how much this went for.
