CSA and ex's understated earnings

My ex understates his earnings by about £25,000 per year, what can I or the CSA do?

    You can report him!!

My ex did the same but I couldnt be bothered to fight it he wasnt worth it. Probably led to half my problems!

Is he self employed? I am guessing so, if so report him to inland revenue (you can do anonymously) and say you know he has more income than he is declaring..

it might not help you get more money from him in short term as he will then be chased for tax he owes but in long term should.
If he is employed then he really should not be able to hide it.

    Hope you get somewhere

You can apply for a Variation stating the income could not sustain lifestyle with the CSA.

Also report them to the HMRC for tax evasion.

gather as much evidence as you can - you have to do all the hard work, the CSA will not help you - I'm 250 miles away from my ex therefore I have no chance

report him to these guys http://www.taxevasionhotline.co.uk/ and get them on the case

I read somewhere that the CSA have the power to look at NRP's bank statements, but I don't know if it is true or not (I'm in the middle of a complaint with them and have asked them specifically if they have the power to do this).

    good luck
