standard life-contractiing back in.

s/life have written to me to ask me if i'm sure i want to stay contracted out.
at 57, i dont think its going to make a lot of difference to me but i cant help but wonder if it will have any effect on any payout that i will get when they demutalise in2006?? Would contracting in make any difference to that? :xmastree:

    It catford contracted back in,his existing Standard Life pension would stay the same, but no new contracted out rebate money would be paid into it by the Government.
    Trying to keep it simple...;)

    All indications are that the 2006 rebates are going to be the lowest yet. I havent seen any figures but only heard comments about them. Its getting almost 95% contract back in now.
