How much did you spend today? 19/12

:rudolf:

Morning. Yippeeeeeee!! Finally I am in a festive spirit, yipppeeeeeee!!

I also started feeling a bit bad for having decided not to buy any presents this year, so am going to now, however, that means I have 7 people to buy for this week, aarrgghhhhhhhhhh!!

To be honest, it should be ok, as I have ideas for most of them.. just a mad rush now to buy all the bits & pieces!!

I just had to buy a sarnie for lunch, £3.20 - eeeek!! And will spend whatever I need to in regards to Christmas Pressies tonight, I was budgeting £50 per person, I figure I might as well go the whole hog!! I am such an extremist!!

I hope you are all having a good day xx

    dont do it ms_london,

£50 per person is tooo much, get them something they will appreciate and then they'll feel good and you wont feel guilty once you've bought it all.

    you know Im right!
  • None, lunch was bought for me by one of the top bosses at work. I was in some meeting when I should have had my head down asleep really.

Have a day off today and haven't yet left the house, but have still managed to spend! Have bought some towels online that had an offer of spend £25 get £15 deducted, and these towels are really good quality and will finish our new bathroom off perfectly. Free delivery too. I spent £13 in total for 3 bath and 2 hand towels.

I may have to pop out to buy a specialist newspaper to get me up to date on a new career I am looking into and have applied for a couple on. Think it costs £1.10.

Am going to theatre tonight for xmas panto but I paid for the tickets months ago so doesn't really count.

Ms London- maybe just see what you find in the shops and you may need to spend a lot less that £50 pp to be happy with the presents. Sometimes you can get things in sales etc that look worth a lot more than what you paid, so I hope you'll be lucky!

I've just spent £8 on a necklace - I got it reduced from £12 as it had a tiny fault :j . Going out for dinner tonight but I'm hoping not to spend more than about £10. Hope you find some nice xmas pressies ms_london - I've just been out in Covent Garden and most of the shops have started their sales so maybe you'll find some bargains!

  • _pale_ Pants day for me today.
Spent £42 and something pence in Morrisons on not very much, it's my husband's birthday so cake etc. Hubby also had to buy cakes for work so took £20 out of the hole in the wall. In total more than I spent in Lidl last Sunday for a whole week's shopping!
This pm ordered christmas flowers for family who've decided to move to the other side of the world and keep sending up gifts/flowers for birthdays etc so another £37 which I had to put on my credit card as they would not accept maestro  I know I will pay it off the cc straight away but I felt really awful putting it on there when I'm so determined not to use it anymore!
