Do Jersey residents pay tax to UK??

Dont know if i'm right but i seem to remember that they get some benefit from assoiation with UK but without the burdon of the tax that the rest of us have to pay....whats the situation??

As far as I understand it, we provide their defence, and they chip in for the army and so on. Not sure they actually pay any tax to the UK as such. They're outside the EU as well, so don't have to pay for whatever Brussels decide is a good idea!0

Jersey residents pay up to 20% income tax, and social security is capped at £203.64 per month.
Living costs there are alot higher than mainland UK though.0
