Last Minute IPOD Hunt

Apparently my daughter wants an IPOD for Christmas. Only found this out last night does anyone know where I can get one. More importantly where I can get one cheap. I think she wants the one that is about £120, not the shuffle. I know nothing about these things so any help would be gratefully received.

I'm assuming that your daughter's after the Nano, which is approx £135ish for a 2gb, and more for the 4gb. There's various threads on the board regarding their availability. You might've left it too late to order from Apple direct (with educational discount - £128), so I think your best bet is Boots or John Lewis. I also read that Carphone Warehouse (randomly) had the Nano in stock.

Have a search on the board though in case someone's mentioned a better offer, can't think of one off of the top of my head though...

What is the difference between
Suffle, Mini, Nano........(shuffle-small?, Nano-Medium? ipod-Large??)
I have tried to search on this site for the answer, but I am getting sooo confused!
I (think) I want a docking station too.........
Any good last minute deals out there?

Hi, Last night on ebay, someone was advertising the Nano Ipod for £99 plus £5 delivery charge BUTguaranteed next day delivery. They were in stock. This is what we did.
Go into ebay, search for Nano Ipod and hopefully you will get to this advertiser. His user name was something like G888 and he is situated in Yarm which is in Cleveland. If he still has them, this is a really good buy. Last week I paid £139.95 at Dixons for the same thing. Expect to pay in the region of £39 for the speakers and docking station which some retailers are charging £59 for. Whilst I am browsing ebay today, I will have a quick look and if I find anything to add to this, I will post later in the day. Good Luck. Sallysaver

I have done a quick search of ebay and kelkoo for the Ipod. Of course I also don't know what I'm talking about, but if you go into ebay and put a search in for item 584429909 this is the Nano Ipod I was talking about for £99 plus £5 delivery.
