5 energy efficient lightbulbs for 40p from Tesco

I have just been into my local Tesco and bought 5 energy efficient lightbulbs for 40p.
I thought it was a mistake, but no, it's true.
Sorry if this is posted in the wrong place but seemed the best place to me.

i bought 5 of these yesterday it is i great deal! however the checkout lady and the lady helping me pack my bags were discussing an asian man that had been in earlier and bought 200!!! when the checkout lady said something to him he said ..."i have a big house!" and she replied "where? buckingham palace!"
they will probably be in a pound shop somewhere now reaping in a vast profit! oh why am i so cynical.... i am sure he was just stocking up for the future... hmmmm well what do i know

Only thing is they are all the same size bulb . My local Tesco has 5 energy bulbs for £1 but you can mix and match those ones.
Still worth getting the 5 for 40p ones as they scan on the till as £1 each !

Got 5 bulbs for 40 pences, I thought it was an error too but no, they scanned at £1 but then got £4.60 discount at the end of the bill. Still plenty at Yeading tesco.

its been on offer for a few weeks, many of the stores arent putting signs up so might be worth while checking even if there are no signs
