Hi there
I am making a lasagne today & have the mince on simmering away - I usually add milk to this as it gives a yummy creamy sauce but the sauce looks horrid having had the milk added - any ideas what I can do? do i leave it to cook out?

It will cook out and won't look creamy after awhile. The 1st time I did it I thought I had ruined it but it does change back in colour.
I am presuming you have already added the tomato paste and tomato's ?0 -

You should simmer your mince in a little water first then pour off the grease, if you haven't done this then that's why it looks yucky. Try adding more water, simmer for a while then strain it off, if you want a nice creamy gravy try adding a spoonful of oats after adding the gravy.Give me life, give me love, give me peace on earth.0 -
Hi boredjellybean,
I've added your thread to the current one on adding milk to mince when making lasagne to keep the replies together.
