Taken to court over a disputed debt ?

HI , as you may know I have a thread going about CCA request updates . What I want now is for people to use this thread to tell us all about any successes at court , ie claim thrown out , or claimant withdrawing before it went to court . Please this is not meant to be a decussion on the process , that can be done else where , just a explanation of what happened when threatened with court action . thanks

hi! i was threatened with court action over a debt that i have i think the outstanding balance was sum were in the region of 2,000 they sent me a letter adding the court costs onto my debt and said that they would be in touch with court date! i disagreed with this decision as i had offered previously to pay the debt back in monthly instalements as that was all i could afford and they had rejected it, i called the company and told them off this and they made up the excuse that nothing had been written on the system to say that i had offered monthly payments and that it was now to late as it had gone to far, i then wrote to the courts and the case was dismissed as i had offered the company an agreement and it was there fault that they hadnt accepted this! so it just proves that they will threaten you with all sorts but it doesnt mean that they are correct in what they are sayin
