Hi all
I thought the eyeshadows would be lovely for my DD so bought mag from ASDA yesterday and popped into Boots today on my way to work (I was there when they unlocked the doors, lol). Picked up a couple of bits, there was no sign of EA lady. Got what I thought was eyeshadow set on counter, marked at £10 when you buy something, but red packaging and I was expecting the 'lady packaging' as shown on the mag.
I went to the general counter and asked if they knew where the EA lady was. The SA said she didn't, and asked if she could help. I said I wanted to know if I'd picked up the right product for the voucher - and she said 'oh I can help you with that', and scanned it. I handed her the money for the other bits before she started to ask about the consultation or anything on the voucher. I was in and out in 5 mins. I must say I did this in all innocence, but it might help someone else who is having probs (is Mimi sorted?)
Cheers

Hoping you get well very soon Mimi.
Don't forget Miss Mariah is on x facter this saturday. Cuddle up on the sofa & stare into her eyes, that'll perk you up no end.0 -
I have now printed out all my ACM coupons and noticed there are different barcodes for the following:
100 points wyb No7 Metallic Eye Pencil - 2 different codes
100 points wyb Boots own brand hoisery or socks - 2 different codes
50 points wyb any product from the Boots Mens Essentials range - 2 different codes
100 points wyb Botanics Mens Anti-Ageing Micro Dermabrasion Kit - 2 different codes
So fab news if you're buying No7 eyepencils! 200 points!! :j
There may be more but these are the ones me and my partner found when we compared!"Buy me, Lady", said the frock, "and I will make you into a BEAUTIFUL & WHOLE & COMPLETE human being"."Do not be silly", said the Man, "for a frock alone cannot do that"."True", said the Lady, "I will have the shoes and the bag as well".:rotfl:0 -
Sorry if I'm being a pain or if this has come up before, but I've been following the amazing achievements you guys have been making from Boots points & glitches, and I was wondering if you give me a crash course in how one gets started on the long road to becoming a practised Boots-er.
I have my points card (but there's less then 100pts on it), and am in 3 of the health clubs.
The only problem I think I may have is that I have quite a trek to get to a larger store - have about 3 in walking distance but they're all pretty much train-station sized, if you know what I mean.
So - any easy tips to get me started?
Much appreciated!
The best advice I can give you is to set aside time to read the first page of this thread then read the rest and bookmark it then keep checking it!!! Start off by buying something you need in Boots and spend £5 then you will get your first £5 blue voucher. Check the Advantage card machine and print off as many of the vouchers as it will let you...you never know when a glitch will come along!!! Pick up the magazines in store as they always have vouchers in the back...again get one every time you go in as they might come in handy one day! Any questions just ask, we're a friendly bunch on here!!0 -
Hope you are feeling better very soon Mimi.
