  • Hi guys, this really is my last resort, i have tried every single day for almost 2 weeks to get the No7 illuminous compact mirror (the one with the purple case) £12.49ish or £2.49ish with TS and pinky...
I have been in about 6-7 different stores looking for them, and have been told today that they wont be around until mid Dec... I was really hoping to get one of these for my DD Bday on Dec 1st, i dont suppose any of you guys has an extra one of these have you or is anyone willing to pick me up 1...
I am willing to exchange one for 5 SS splits??
    Any takers?

  • 342 with kabuki brush not working at SS tills at Meadowhall and no S&G GWP either so you would have had a wasted journey Mimi although they are still doing the pay less with points. I wonder if that will still apply when 342 kicks in on S&G???

    Hiya!
Does anyone know if the St.Albans store is big and does it have SS tills?
I'm thinking about going there tomorrow...
    Thanks :)

    Hi Sophie

Sorry, fraid to say St Albans store isn't big (Luton is bigger) and it doesn't have SS Tills.

However, sometimes they do have 'glitch' type items in this store more than some of the larger ones ie max factor bags, jk nail files.

There is a Boots in London Colney but I don't know what this store is like.

    Hi,

Looking for some advice on how best to use SS tills please? Have little experience with them but would like to use for TS and Pinkie and extra point voucher.

I would like to buy, £20 worth approx of No7 and so get GWP. I have TS and Pinkie to use and also 500pts when you spend £15 on No7 skincare. What order should I use these in? I know to scan No7 stuff first then GWP but not sure what to do then, does the till tell you what to do?

Really need a beginners guide to this! So dumb and get all flustered when the SA comes to help me.

    TIA for any help.

Don't know about the points voucher but this is what I do on SS with the pinkie/ts
    scan no.7 items
    scan GWP
scan pinkie, till says "1 item free" press on screen 'skip bagging button'
scan ts till says "1 item free" press on screen 'skip bagging button',
then press 'finish and pay' on screen button
then press on screen 'voucher' button
    scan points voucher
press 'finish and pay' pay and don't forget to post your vouchers
This method worked for me and avoided the till freezing problem I had been having when it didn't seem to recognise that I had put my vouchers in the slot when I scanned the pinkie/ts after 'finish and pay'
The bit I'm unsure about is if the till will recognise a qualifying £15 for your 500 points voucher if your final total is less than £15? Anyone else tried?
  • hello, I must just say i am new to MSE, but love reading the Boots news. I have made some really good buys from all the threads posted here - many thanks. My question is, I have a 750 point voucher for clinique, lancome, estee lauder, and clarins - does any one know when the next gwp offer is for these?. , and is it possible to use this voucher as well as getting the gwp?
    many thanks

I tried to get the r&m £15 eye shadow kit which someone posted yesterday you can use the pinkies etc within the 342, but the horrible SA wouldn't let me. :( She was all "you can't use them with 342" didn't have the guts to ask her to just try. :( Never mind! Still got ANOTHER free 17 dust thing as i bought some 17 nail varnish. It did make me late back to lesson though. :( woops.
