Charges letters to MBNA, Monument, halifax Credit Card HQs

Hi all
I have downloaded the excellent template for requesting details of all charges from three credit card companies I hold debts with - Halifax Credit Card; MBNA; and Monument (although this has recently been sold to Cabot....)

I have sent them registered this morning to the HQs on Martin's list along with £10 cheques to each.

Anyone with experience on:---

a) how they respond
b) time taken to respond
c) whether it actually gets anywhere?

Finally, does my demand for charges have a negative impact on the current debts, ie they may get funny?

Cant say for any of the others, only the one I work for MBNA will set it against any outstanding balance you have on the account concerned. If the refund is greater, they will send a cheque fro the difference. With MBNA, dont accept the first offer (although they will credit your accoount) MBNA pay in full every time, without hassle.

Legally, they have 28 days to respond (as per FSA guidelines on complaints procedure) - they usually a little quicker.
