    Hi there

yeah we are flexi time so can take breaks, stay late and as I am always online doing stuff can do surveys, stp and such like during working hours.....problem is I am often so busy I dont always get the chance to finish surveys!! I stay late most nights so even if I could work for an hour extra a night could be used to make some money online :-)

Time's not the issue, it's the way you're planning to use the work internet, i.e. to make money for yourself. Do check your contract and IT policy very carefully, and ideally discuss it with your HR or someone who can give you a definitive answer, as most places will strictly forbid the usage of their IT equipment for your own profit-making purposes.
  • Has anyone out there actually tried any of these work from home on line thingies, and how did it go? Was it ok? Worth it? Would you recommend it?

I work for Lionbridge. It's an assessors job, rating google search results. There was an application process with two tests. It was all done online. I get paid in Euros. You have to commit to 10 - 20 hours a week. Some weeks there isn't enough work. You have to keep to targets, which are pretty reasonable. I have gotten paid regularly. I like it because I can fit it around my other full time job, which is itself very flexible in terms of when I work. It does not involve any phone work (I don't like phone work).

If you are interested you should google Lionbridge Internet Assessors

Don't you need to be bi-lingual?
  • I read it to mean that if English isn't your mother tongue, it should be mother tongue standard.

But I could be wrong. We'll see if they reject my app without taking it further!

This looks interesting. I don't have a CV but I suppose I could 'rustle' one up.. ^..^

Would you mind giving a rough indication of what kind of income this can generate Lindsay?

    Thanks

    :)
