Just had a thought, on the section on the BR papers after where I fill in the list of creditors, there is a section that wants to know which cards are in use now, there is only a few debit cards, what do I do with any cards that are maxed out and I don't use, do I send them back or keep for the official receiver.
Also what happens when I go BR and if by accident I forget one of my creditors, I am trying to think of everyone, but head clouded. Can I just tell the OR.

Hi nida,
Put all the cards you've got on that list, including the ones you've already listed as creditors. Keep the cards - the OR will tell you what to do with them (either send to him or cut them up, I think!)
BR covers all debt on cards and loans up to the point of BR, so even if you forget to tell the OR on the forms, the debt is still covered by BR if you remember another card later. You need to tell the OR about any you've forgotten as soon as you remember, but they are definitely covered by the BR.
Hope that helps! All the best, CBx;)0 -
Are you talking about section 5 question 5.2 which asks for cheque cards, cash dispenser cards, credit or charge cards, debit cards?.
If so you have to repeat any that you listed in unsecured creditors if they are a credit cards. Also regardless of if you still use them or not you have to list them.
I had already cut my cards up so just told the OR at the interiew i no longer had them and he was fine with that.
Any debt up to the date of your bc will be included, even if you forget to put it on your SOA.DxxFree impartial debt advice available from: National Debtline - Tel: 0808 808 4000 | The Consumer Credit Counselling Service (CCCS) - Tel: 0800 138 1111 | Find your local Citizens Advice Bureau

Hi, I am getting myself ina right stew, I feel I am going to do this all wrong, I understand most of the forms as CCCS bankruptcy have helped me, the lady said that I list all my creditors in section 4, then in 5.2 I just put the cards that I use, which is just my debit cards as I don't use the credit cards anymore, maxed out and not made last months payments as advised.
The majority of my debts are on cards, so there is not enough space in 5.2, also what do I put on the following page, it seems to be asking same question as 5.2. . Think I am going to go mad.
Also I dont know what to put for when started struggling, suppose it was April 2007 when husband went monthly pay and set wage (since July this year back to weekly and variable wage), we juggled, remortgaged, still struggled after a few months again, got a loan in May this year as a breather, didnt apply, barclays offered and it was a lifeline. CCCS said that I should put last month. Dont want court to think I am only struggling this month. Its just that I have run out of lifelines. Have been using credit to pay credit for years, trying to stay afloat as never wanted to go down this route.
I have really tried0 -
section 4 asks for ALL unsecured creditors, some of these may be catalogues ect. Section 5 5.2 asks for credit cards or bank accounts, even if you no longer use them,so some of these may well be repeated from section 4. Section 5 question 5.4 is asking for any details of ANY bank account, building society ect account your name has been on in the last 2 years even if you no longer use them.
Here is an example say i had 2 credit cards, an overdraft, and owed littlewoods catalogue and had a bank account which owed nothing..
In section 4 i would list all the above except the bank account owing nothing. In section 5,, 5.2 i would list the credit card and the overdraft. Then in section 5,5.4 i would list the overdraft and the bank account owing nothing.
Hope that all make sense.DxFree impartial debt advice available from: National Debtline - Tel: 0808 808 4000 | The Consumer Credit Counselling Service (CCCS) - Tel: 0800 138 1111 | Find your local Citizens Advice Bureau

In other words, there's loads of repeating yourself!!:D CBx0 -
Thanks for that
In 5.2 there is not a lot of boxes, what do I do. I know in section I can photo copy and slot sheet in, also do I add totals on each sheet for creditors or just put a final figure at the end of my creditors so as not to confuse.0 -
I had 2 sheets of unsecured creditors:o when i got to court she(the clerk) totalled sheet one then did a grand total on sheet 2,as like you thought i just did a sheet total on each. I did mine by hand and there was a sheet for extra info where you put the question number(yes mine was used for 5.2 as well:D )but if you don't have that then i am sure a photocopy slotted in will be fine.DxFree impartial debt advice available from: National Debtline - Tel: 0808 808 4000 | The Consumer Credit Counselling Service (CCCS) - Tel: 0800 138 1111 | Find your local Citizens Advice Bureau
