i get letters of this sort all the time since I am a victim of Identity theft... last place I lived the current tenant used ny name to get thousands of pounds worth of stuff from catalogues who seem to sell debts on to many debt collection agencies who harass and scare you and that's legal (shouldn't be) but let it hit court stage as the onus is on them and their solicitor to prove you owe it and it you have proof you lived elsewhere tenancy agreement, last electricity bill or any other paperwork... they can't touch you for it!0
