    hi all.

spent the day out with mum and dad yesterday. We drove through Lymington to Keyhaven which is a tiny place with a nature reserve. There is a fab pub there which had a log burner in one area and an open fire in another.

they have gone to Lulworth Cove today whilst I've been at work. I've just shovelled some re-heated rice into my mouth for lunch and will be getting everything ready for teaching tonight, the whirwind of switching between jobs continues. There's a beef casserole in the slow cooker they can eat whilst i'm out as well as OH when he turns up and I'll have whatever is left when I get in.

Seems Charlie's artist has had a second portrait go astray from her blog :( Definitely something nearer her part of the country to mine as they were posted together. I saw my postman yesterday and he had been asked by his boss but he didn't remember passing anything on to the van driver. I'm guessing that's because it's disappeared somewhere else :(

The house is a bit manic at the moment with stuff for 4 adults all around.

Mum told me yesterday that the money from my nanna's house (who died in May) clears tomorrow and her and my dad are going to give the 4 of us a little bit each. I've said I'd rather they keep it for dad's retirement in Feb (35 years a milkman - he deserves to put his feet up) but they are insisting. I can't see it being much (apparently my younger sister has had her equivalent in the payment of and fitting of 2 windows - not sure the cost of that) but to be honest, it will help me financially and obviously I'm very grateful and it's completely unexpected however much the amount.

Maz - When you work with teenagers, you need to know your contraception! Speaking off, I'm off to the docs soon to hopefully change mine.

BB - Hope your enjoying their visit. :( about the picture but I still think she needs to be more careful!

it is good to see them Gemmz. I only see them once or twice a year, so it is nice, if busy!!!!!!

She isn't going to risk it any more, which is good. Sad for the other owner who has no picture either - also a springer who is no longer with us so it was a kind of 'in memory' piece :(

    Contraception?? What's that for?

the gestation period of the European Red Squirrel is 38 or 39 DAYS!!! So I would have thought that the morning sickness would kick in pretty quick:D

So a busy day on 10th December then Squizz, could be 2 or 3 extra for Christmas:p
