    It’s energy saving week, and LG’s highlighting its green credentials with this special limited edition Steam Direct Drive Washing Machine. There are only five of the green-hued clothes cleaners in the world, and we’ve got one to give away!
    The ultra-smart washing machines automatically weigh your grubby clobber, working out precisely the right amount of water to pour in. It means they use 35% less water than other machines, as well as 21% less electricity. That earns them a rare A++ energy efficiency rating.
    Available for £800 in stores, the machine’s usually clad in white, silver or black, but these special edition green versions are a true one-off.
