DH didnt make his minimum payment on his cc last month and the cc company have been hounding us with telephone calls for the last couple of weeks.
His new statement has come, the minimum payment has doubled and we haven't got a hope in hell of paying it (we have made some small payments throughout the last couple of weeks though).
He spoke to the cc company when they rang the other night and they weren't really interested, and more or less encouraged him to go on a DMP.
Do you think that after this conversation they will refer it straight to a DCA? Exactly what will happen if they do? Do the bailiffs come?
I know I should ring CCCS or someone similar, just wanting to weigh up exactly what we will let ourselves in for first......Thanks

Hi
The first thing you need to do is post a SOA (don't have the link but am sure someone will be along shortly). That way we can all see if theres anything we can suggest to help.
Ultimately, if your outgoings are more than your incomings then you have a problem. Whether this is resolved by a DMP or other means depends on the extent of the deficit.
But don't panic....there is bound to be a solution to your problem

Thanks....my SOA is already on here somewhere and the deficit is BIG.
Yes, our outgoings are a lot more than our incomings and we can't do anything about it, there is nothing else to cancel/get rid of.
