I appreciate the time people take and if I don't know the answer and it's posted I click thanks, but if I know the answer I don't.
Asking for thanks (IMO only) isn't the name of the game. You should post answers because you want to help not for the thanks count.
Sorry, just my two penny worth (is that the saying?!!!) LOL!Thank you to everyone who posts comps! :A

It's not about the post count, it's about feeling part of the community and knowing how much your efforts are appreciated (or not).
I'm talking about the advent comps I have listed, not answers. There is nothing to fear, but fear itself. Namaste!0 -
Apoligies for confusing what you were talking about, I haven't (to my knowledge) seen your posts so can't comment on that bit.
Still think (IMO) asking for thanks isn't the done thing. We all post because we want to and for every 1 thanks you get their is going to be one person (registered or not, lurking or not) that doesn't thank. That's life, that's all I kinda meant I guess.
bygones.

I went for The North Pole on the Mediaplant one, could be Lapland I suppose but you make your own mind up on that one.

A few days ago, another poster (sorry I've forgotten who) suggested mediaplant get their answers from this website:
http://www.carols.org.uk/0301.htm
According to that, it should be Lapland, but I don't see how they can say the North Pole is wrong as that's the place that's mentioned in so many books, stories, films, etc, about Father Christmas.Big thanks to Martin Lewis for helping us start to sort out our finances!!!:A
Best Comp win:X-Box 360!!
And thank you to all posters! You're wonderful!0
