Got mine today, not overly impressed... scooby doo string bag, a couple of cars, a rupert board book, a spiderman 2 picture book, a fireman sam book.. and a couple of other bits ..... no way worth £40..

Only £4, I agree, but still feel their original claims are rather misrepresentative!!

    moan to telegraph?
Baby Year 1: Oh dear...on the move

Lily contracted Strep B Meningitis Dec 2006  Now seemingly a normal little monster.
Love to my two angels that I will never forget.
  • Not got my 2 yet - I ordered one boy & one girl on Tuesday 4th November and they took payment from my account on 11th November which is 2 weeks tomorrow. I'm at home tomorrow so if postie doesnt deliver I'm going to chase them up because they do state "Your Credit card will not be billed until your order is ready to ship. "

Not so worried about mine - it's "only" 8 quid after all, but several of my friends ordered them on my recommendations and I'd hate for them to be scammed

Received the girls bag today, ordered on the 4th they took the money on the 6th so not too bad as I wasn't in a rush to get them anyway. All items were included.

Like others have mentioned the items don't add up to £30 but I really wasn't expecting them to. It was definitely worth the £3.98.

I got mine today and am really happy for what I got given that it only cost a few pounds. I received (Boys set)
    • Scooby Doo bag (The plastic one with a bit of string) Ok, it's not the greatest quality, but it does say "If it weren't for those meddling kids" on it, which I think is ace :D
    • Two toy cars
    • Two little pots of Playdough
    • Fireman Sam book
    • Scooby Doo book with stickers, activities etc
    • Christmas Carols CD
    • Bionicle book - never heard of it, but I'm not really down with the kids ;)
    • Big Mr Men poster
    • Magic Roundabout activity book
I have worked it out at about £25 - £30 value but at the end of the day I don't think it's worth moaning because you got a little less than you expected from what was a high-demand offer.

My friend is a single mum to three boys, and they are going to love the little hamper I'm making them with these toys/books (and some cheap sweets) Thanks to the OP for the offer.
