    i must be really thick I can't work out how this price drop tv works at all...... put loads of bids on never won a thing....

    can anyone explain to me, I seem to be missing the point :-)

    I suspect they make money by premium telephone lines and thousands of calls on just a few items each for sale

    If it says "bid from a £1" then the item has not started dropping yet.
    If it says "current price" then that is the price that the item is at that moment and it could drop further until all the product is sold. You may bid at £40 and it could drop to £20, so you would end up paying the lower price.
