Wescot and Digibill

This morning my father received a demand from a company called Wescot relating to a bill of £11.98 on behalf of Digibill
doing a bit of online detective work it appears digibill is ppv !!!!!! related, my dad is adamant its nothing to do with him, and neither me or my brothers, who all live away now, have ever had access to the pin number to access such services
he's never had any demand from digibll themselves, and is understandably reluctant to enter into any discussions with either party.
the letter they've sent him doesnt even spell his name right or have the correct county as part of the address
i've found the letter you can send them asking for proof of debt but he doesnt really want to acknowledge them and to be honest having read some of the horror stories i cant blame him,
any advice most welcome

hi , just write back only using their reference number nothing else . State you have no knowledge of ant debt to their company and ask them to check the details with their client. Point out that no one with the name they have used lives at the address and also the address is incorrect . Do no sign or give correct spelling or address .0
