You can download lots of different types of music, from punk to easy listening. There's a section- the UK's unsigned top 40, and you can also search for gigs. It's a great site!

Why do you say that bigalmum and glen5213? I've downloaded some interesting music from bands I wouldn't normally have heard of. You just state, "this is the worst website ever", but don't give any reason for your opinion...0

Forgot I'd posted this! It was quite funny because it was a friend of OH's who emailed us about the site, and the first time I checked it out had a look at the new bands who were listed. Downloaded a few tracks from a group that caught my eye & thought they were really good. Then I read the info about the group & OH's friend was one of the musicians. I knew he was a musician, but not that he was in that group- a real coincidence!!0

Ok, thanks to the OP for the post. But the music on there is really dire, I took a punt and played the number one hit in the 'Unsigned Top 40', it's really obscenely appalling:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:! Sounds like it's straight out of This Is Spinal Tap.
This is from their blurb..."Having spent most of 2008 under the wing of ex T'Pau songmeister, Ron Rogers, in his studio in Monmouth..."I'm sure you get the idea. They have 10 fans on the site apparently, 9 of whom prefer to stay anonymous.
The band is called Times Up and the song is Vendetta.

Just listened to a bit of Vendetta and it's pretty bad! I usually just pick out the types of music I normally listen to (not very adventurous!) and have found some good stuff...0
