Lou I love 50s music cos I had 2 older sisters who went round the street on a go cart,with a wind up gramophone and vinyls. I was 10 but knew the songs and all the words. I even had a bouffant petticoat in lilac and a hoop in me skirt. When you sat down the front of yer skirt shot up in the air obliterating everything if it was a circular skirt, mine was with (space men on it) Hey first space stuff and all that. Have I lived. I was brought up on 50's and 60's music. Mum and dad were big music lovers. Elvis, The Beatles, Frank Sinatra etc....the best.

Lou never liked the Beatles, but 2 songs Hey Jude and Norwegian Wood. I was a rebel, Stones fan. But Mod all the same, not a rocker. (conflict) Hated Frank Sinatra, Englebert and Tom Jones, Dave Clark 5, Eddy Cochran, Billy Fury, Little Richard was me. Now, Lenny Cohen, Coldplay, The Killers, Take That, And Sad Silly Amy
