I have tried to look for the answer to this but the thread is huge!

Can someone tell me what the difference is between clicking and searching?

I can see that F5 doesn't work, if I just put something into the search bar and keep clicking on search the same 2 cards (but not a pair!) come up over and over. They change each time I type a new word into the search box but s there a quicker way?

Try clicking on the blue What's Hot link each time.

yes there is, below the search bar is a "whats hot" click that and it will refresh with a new search.
