Changing Banks/debts Held With Current Bank

 Good morning. We have been advised by PayPlan to open a new bank account because our debts are associated with two credit cards and an overdraft with our current bank. We were advised to do this before contacting the bank about our debts. Unfortunately, due to our poor credit rating our applications to other banks have been refused. Can anyone suggest a bank which might look favourably on our application?

I got a co op cashminder account despite being on a dmp, no chequebook or overdraft but you do get an electron card. go in and see them and explain why you need the account, they were very helpful and non judgemental to me.
