Be careful. I bought the Freecom one and haven't found anywhere with a good enough signal yet. You may need a big aerial. Can I help?0

Just a quick question, with the DVB-T do you need an aerial connection or does it use some form of receiver?.
Can you get one of these for a standard TV?..

The Freecom stick is available from amazon - they keep changing the price but I think it is currently £43.99 including VAT & delivery (has been as low as £42.28)johno69 wrote:Just a quick question, with the DVB-T do you need an aerial connection or does it use some form of receiver?...
There is a 6inch twig that comes with the stick,
but unless you have extremely strong, good quality signals I'm not sure how good a reception you'll get
You can plug them into external aerials. A baby like this (with decent coax) should help you get a decent reception:
Kind of negates the advantage of a small memory stick device though
Oh... and before anyone asks, yes you do need a valid TV licence to legally receive TV broadcast signals however they are received."Now to trolling as a concept. ....
