Lewis Debt Recovery

Hey everyone, hope you have all had a good weekend.
I have just returned home to find a packet from Lewis Debt Recovery, they are chasing me for £605.01 from a Barclays Account.
I sent them a CCA Request and they responded that as this was an overdraft one did not exist. I then asked them to send me statements for the account. I have received 20 pages of statements for some one elses account !!!! They have sent me the details of a lady (her address, bank account number and sort code).
What should i do? Obviously this is a huge breach of the Data Protection act.
Cheers for now

I have contacted the ICO and obviously they were not very impressed and im now forwading on the relevant information to them to make a complaint.
What is my next step with regards to this company? In the letter it says "as you are aware payment is now due."

I would write back and state that since they have not sent you anything related to a debt that could be even vaguely considered yours, you still have no debt to acknowledge. Unless they provide the relevant information within the legally required time limits, you will accept no further correspondence. Some days, it's just not worth chewing through the leather straps....

Hi
There are no "time limits" becasue the matter is not covered by the CCA.
have you checked
1. That you did not have any unfair charges that you can recalimon this account?
2.That you did not have any sort of PPi that you could have claimed against, can reclaim because you could not claim against it?If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0
