I also found a long pin in with my bras
I took it as a sign that I should try pinning for the ring. So I stuck the pin in my pillow and said I pin the devil. Is that right?
Thank you all for your support over the last few days.
I hope I will be able to do the same for you at some point.

There are people who died fighting for this country and the rights to have what we do and I am lucky to be where I am with what I have. Hugs to all those of you who have lost loved ones to help me get where I am today.
Kaz - I don't blame you for feeling the way you did, and I'm sure no one else does either. What happened to you was what had the most impact on you at that time IYSWIM. Thank you for reminding us as well of something else important. x

Some real early birds on here today. I got a cup of tea in bed at 9.00 as DH was putting on his CS98 and DS and I still made it to the Cenotaph on time, followed the march back to the church for the service then went for DN's birthday present before going home for lunch. It absolutely pured down for the parade and I thought the same as Boddy. It's a small price to pay so we had golfing umbrellas up but.........at 11.00 on the dot the sun came out so the brollies went down at the start of the silence.
Just been with present (iPod speakers as she had an iPod for her birthday.) and had some birthday cake so now sitting with my feet up for a while, but am going to tackle the ironing shortly.
Soappie - weird dream
SS - I'd love to get you interpreting DS's dreams, they are totally off the wall!
Vanilla - what a lovely special Remembrance Day memory for you, although I am sure it was breathtakingly traumatic for you at the time. TGFSM!
Valli - see? Another good lad! I'm sure you;ve done evrything just perfectly as we are all Super Mums on here!
Gryfon - I'd remember on Tuesday if I were you, or you'll miss it again! :rotfl:
And I would give her a duster or child sized brush and dustpan, both of mine loved "helping".
Menolly - best thing to try if colour is too dark is to use a medicated shampoo such as Vosene as it strips some of the colour out. I'm a bit ginger biscuity myself at the moment - DD's choice as she did 18 months of her hair dressing course - but it quite suits me as, although naturally quite dark, I have auburn lights (thanks to both Grannies) and am very fair skinned!
Toochoosey - pm me and I'll give you Facebook ID if you don't find me any other way.
Pigpen - please may I try some gentle flying this week? Only with just doing my dailies my house is slowly deteriorating!DMP mutual support thread No: 433 - Mortgage - £54,556, Credit cards - £4012, Unsecured loan - £3,376, Other - £419

That's right CS - now go sit down, enjoy your G&T  and forget about the ring if you can for 24 hours.
Just soaked in the bath and feel MUCH better - shoulders are no longer screaming but neck is threatening to spasm to I'm talking sternly to it. Will drip dry for a bit and then get the rest of the dinner on the road.I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Sorry not ignoring everyone! Been cleaning
It's nearly there but I'm pooped. Big girl finished off picking up the bitty things off the floor for me as my back is twinging. Mr G is home now so he's got the job of lugging the bags away. I think I've got to the "just dump whatever is on the table onto the ironing board for now" stage though :rotfl: My tummy is rumbling and my parents will be here soon!

Thanks Gryf, I'll be careful. My back is generally fine and strong. But I have a recurring problem with one shoulder and my neck which I've had physio for off and on in the past. I think it's due too much time spent at the computer!I am the leading lady in the movie of my life
