See them and very tempted but there were some others that were a bit cheaper and so being a moneysaver (tight !!!!) I went for the cheapies....
So how are they, any different from "normal"socks.0 -
Clothes made from bamboo are supposed to be very environmentally friendly

I have some of these and some non bamboo. My daughter and I both wear them on school days so they all get mixed up in the washing. I can never tell the difference when I pair them up. Some have faded more but don't know if they're the ones with bamboo or not!0

There was some discussion on bamboo here:

Some of the problems with bamboo apparently are increased energy for processing and water pollution from processing. If it is being marketed as antibacterial - a possible lack of evidence.
As it is fast growing decline in soil quality can be a problem if growers try to grow too much - quite a likely potential in global markets and economies of scale to force down prices and hence force growers to intensify.
Some of the advantages is that it is fast growing and needs little or no herbicides apparently.0 -
I have a couple of bamboo t shirts, and they do feel a lot softer than cotton ones. However, they need to be washed on a delicates wash, as they seem to be a lot thinner than normal, and the first one was full of holes after a couple of washes. ( I only bought them because they were on sale)0
