hi everyone i am starting a new job and need to know how much i will get paid! i will be working 27.5 hrs per week in a school and the wage is £11577.00 pro rata per annum i will work 38 weeks per year.can anyone tell me how to work out my monthly pay?thank you

Are you paid over 12 months? I also work in a school for 28 hrs a week / 38 weeks a year, but we get paid over 12 mths so in the summer hoidays we still get paid

I used this website to roughly work out how much i'd be getting when I started a new job, it's not exact but it's pretty close.

What's the full time salary? And how many hours is full time?

£8640 I think. (gross)

£11577 is (I assume) full-time, so over 37 hrs (ish), you need to work out a per hour rate and then multiply it by the hours you actually work. There is a calculator here for part-time http://www.justparttime.co.uk/

So - taking that £8640 and using Hayleys calculator - will mean a take home of £7649pa, £637 per month.
