Stakeholder pension losing money

Options
In May of this year, my husbands stake holder pension was worth £13,755 fund value. Just asked for a current update from Norwich Union, now only worth £11,396. On Wednesday I have a financial advisor coming round who sold me the pension, not sure what to do. Whether to freeze it, take out 25%, or to leave it running. We have only had the pension for 4 and a half years and my husband is 52 so I really dont think the funds are going to make up the money in the years that it has left to run.

    Leave it alone
Pensions are a long term investment and the up and downs even out over the years

If you can afford it hang on to it. Mervyn11 is spot on. I have only 5 years to go to make up but I am reasonably comfortable with that.

That makes sense because events like this occur on average once every 7 years. You havent experienced one before with this pension.
    my husband is 52

If this is your only provision then hes looking at another 13 years.
I really dont think the funds are going to make up the money in the years that it has left to run.

What makes you say that? Are you predicting some sort of Armageddon?
