B&Q sale on all christmas lights, decs, trees - further reductions (merged)

Everything half price, got myself a fab tree and decorations half price tonight as manager let me have them early but from 15/12/06 everything half price..

Thanks for this. Was waiting for their sale to start - last year got some fab decs on 23rd December, fibre optic street scene, was £40 down to £6 and table decs down from £19.99 to £3.

Just looked http://www.diy.com/diy/jsp/index.jsp?linktype=topnav_Home&1166173670857 and says 20% off all decorations in-store. I imagine this would be in-store only as they obviously want to start shifting it now so they are not stuck with it after next week.

Our local Focus is 50% off too. Also includes toys, trees, wrapping & decs.

Nice big R/C cars for £12.50, they are real looking cars like lambo etc

just been to milton keynes rooksley b&q and there were a lot of lovely lights all half price- we got an outdoor tree ropelight silhouette for £4.94, a large indoor window snowflake shape for £7.42, 20 coloured tree lights for 49p, and 2 lovely clear perspex led shapes snowflake and star for £2.47 each.

we sell first rate real xmas trees and guess what the price goes UP next week as people get desperate for a GOOD tree (not the usual rubbish, but I bet we are sold out by sunday anyhow)

Thanks OP,
I passed b&Q on my way home and nearly went in, then saw the post and went back again.
Got a lovely fibre optic tin train that also plays xmas songs for £14.50
(the kids love it, and for once my wife didn't tell me off for wasting money!)
and some spare halogen bulbs for my fibre optic tree for a whopping 24p each ;o)
Real trees were still full price so I am driving out to our usual tree guy tomorrow. He digs them up to order so at least I know it will be fresh.
