It offers a wide range of outdoor activities for its guests — there are three 18-hole championship golf courses, as well as fishing, horse-riding, falconry and the world’s first gun-dog school. Included in the prize is a round of golf for two on one of the championship courses. A luxurious £8m Espa spa also opened earlier this year.
Gleneagles is offering a Winter Warmer package, which includes a special B&B rate starting from £195 per room, and includes use of the leisure facilities at The Club; it will be available between December 1, 2008, and March 31, 2009, subject to availability.
