Shame...Did you use the self service tills?0

Even if the journal is in stock if you remove it from your basket and reserve the airbrush the reservation total is £4.99
If i removed the journal from basket the airbrush went to full price. I left them both in basket and have reservation email for airbrush for £4.99. Can't collect until tomorrow but will keep checking incase anyone else has any luck0 -
Just read this and so don't think it will work
This reservation relates to the item(s) only, not the price. The item(s) have not been paid for and the price you pay is the price valid in store when the goods are collected. This may result in the price being different, for example after a promotion that was valid at the time the goods were reserved has ended. Please take your reservation number to the store as you will need it to collect your item(s).0 -
Ok - the post I started this thread with was about getting an item cheaper than advertised when purchased with a second item, I am not sure and no one has yet confirmed you are able to get the item on its own at the cheap price.
Since found this quote;
I think this is an argos big time mistake rather than a price glitch! In their xmas book if you buy any high school musical item at £14.99 or over you can have the musical make up case for half price - £4.99 instead of £9.99 (item number 384/1235).
So therefore the price would be correct - it just looks like they're giving out the wrong product at that price!!!0 -

I think it will only work if purchased together with the Journal. The offer is buy the journal get the kit half price so the glitch is the misprice on the offer.
I dont think i will bother going to try and collect as orchid96 had no luck getting just the airbrush kit.0 -

No I went to a normal till - got a girl who was new and asked her what had come up as it was confusing online and she just said 'body art kit at 13.49' as the journal was out of stock it only let me click on the body art kit to reserve and it did come up on the screen as 'reserved at 4.99' but like someone else has said, the prices are probably not set at that time....Jun GC £250.00/£12.40 NSD 3 / 30

I got the airbrush set for £4.99. I used the self serve and the price was £13.49. I asked a member of staff about it and she looked online with the manager. It was full price on the screen so I showed them the email with the reservation. They rang head office who authorized it for £4.99 because I had the email on my phone. It's worth a try if you can take confirmation with you.0
