the other thing is what happens with the companies that we hear nothing back from

    Hi
I would have thourt that thay can find out all thay need to know of the account number.

As for the company that can not find the cca. Well no wonder the banks are in a state!!!!!!!!!!!

Give the other companys time to find it and write back to you in may take some time as most are busy trying pay there own debts

But realy give them a bit longer then phone/ write again.

The compay that says the amout that is owed is not his have you get this in writing? If it is not his then he wont have to pay it. Make shure thats its removed from any credit file too.

I hope this helps you a bit. But im sure somone that know a lot more than me will post soon.
    Good luck
:jYou can have everything you wont in lfe, If you only help enough other people to get what they wont.:j

  • Don't want to worry you, but my OH had the same with a DCA who couldn't find the CCA - they said that the matter was closed. They then sold the debt on to another agency. My OH told them exactly what had happened before but they keep ringing. We'll probably end up going through the whole letter/£1 postal order thing again and just hope that it doesn't get sold on AGAIN!!
