I fully agree, even though I posted the original thread, I am disgusted. They advertised this in National Newspaper (albeit The XXX), if they only had a few tv's then why advertise in a national paper:mad:

Why not? It's a promotion designed to get people to watch their channel. It's certainly done that... None of us have any appropriate evidence to suggest it's a 'fix'. I tried phoning.. didn't get through, so might try again later.

They had only 15 TV's, I had already dialed the first part of the number and only had 3 digits to key in, typed them in and then there was a long wait, but pressed 1 anyway, was showing 14 left on the TV, pressed 1 again still nothing, then got sorry this auction has closed YET there was still 4 left showing on the TV, bloody joke, been spanked for £1.50 :mad:

I'm really sorry, was trying to help people save money, but looks like my post ended up costing people money.

I rang for the one at 4pm, I thought I heard the 'thankyou' message but in my excitement I pressed a button and ended the call.

Anyway, they've just rung to confirm and I've also received the confirmation email!

Hi Mer0176, not your fault and thanks for the info, it was worth the £3 in calls, yep I tried again in the 9pm (hour) as they call it, did the same again, dialed the number within 2 secs and was told it had ended, so that makes me a sucker LOL, still thanks Mer0176 for your info, still I had more chance winning that TV than the lottery LOL. :rotfl:
