Haggling Online?

Does anyone have any advice on haggling online?

I have seen the Buffy the Vampire Slayer complete DVD set for £119.99 at HMV.com, however it is just under £65 at amazon. I know that I could buy it from amazon, but the thing is that I have a load of HMV e-vouchers ready to use from having saved them up at Toluna, so naturally I would like to get the cheap price from HMV.

So, is there a way to play one website off against another to get a cheaper price?

  • ive never known/heard of it from large retailers such as this

You cold sell the vouchers on ebay as they tend to go for almost the same amount? Or to a friend?

Wouldn't have thought it possible to be honest.

I'd buy from Amazon at that price and save the HMV vouchers for use at a later date, sell them (as gazza975526570 suggests) or give them to family/friends as xmas presents.

Thank you for the suggestions :)

The vouchers have a long expiry date, guess I'll save them for later and buy from Amazon. Just goes to show though, always worth shopping around :)
