    May have to eat my words now, or a weeee bit of humble pie, my 20 Gap points have been added + 119 points from recent Amazon purchases which I had given up on;)

    I know I have done it myself, but this is the reason pigsback dont have so many ct's now. People are just taking the points and not spending with the companies. I think if they had things like fill in your details and sign up to questionnaires and quizzes then they could make money there. Pigsback is going down the pan, and I think we can all see why.

    Pigsback possibly gets money on clickthroughs. Advertisers pay you to click on adverts and every clickthrough we get means that we have seen the firms name and for 0.05 per comsumer thats not bad value:D
    surely companies base the success of the ct on how many people actually buy something from them?
  • Agreed but it also bases it on the fact that you may be influenced to buy at a later date or that you may pass on the details of the offer/saving and the firms name to friends/relatives or may say something good about the firm. It gets the name into your mind even if you don't realise it.

    a man after me own heart .. if i bought something from Gap i would leave the tag hanging out and highlight the price lol.. need a morgage for a pair of jeans from these kind of stores
