anyone brought form these guys or a shop/online place which uses a different trading name?

The name Apex rang a bell and when I googled it came up with the sparkling diamonds website. We used the sparkling diamond website to buy my engagement ring and it is perfect and so much cheaper than we could have bought it in a shop. I had no problems contacting them over the phone. (was a year and a half ago so may have changed) I used them after reading posts about them on this website.

They are based in the Bham jewellery quater and offered me to come and have a look at what they sold before I ordered but I did not take them up on the offer.

The only issus I can remember is that when we bought it we got a call from the credit card issuer saying did we know our card details had been used on the website as apparently it is a flagged site.

Other than that I was perfectly happy with what I got!

Received ring yesterday and its stunning, looks very sparkley and is quite heavey. I was thinking of getting an independant valuer to value it, my certs say its worth £1950. Im also buying a magnifier to try see the hallmarking as its very small and cannot be seen
