How to trace a person online

I am trying to trace an old friend and know roughly where she now lives. Someone said I could trace people using https://www.192.com but this does not give address without we registering and paying. Is there any way I can find someone without paying, just by putting in full name and area they live?

On 192.com, find the link that says get sponsored for credits. For signing up to a couple of the sponsors and/or answering some short questionnaires, you will get free credits which you can use to view the addresses.
For the past two years, 192.com have opened up their services to everyone for free for the Christmas period so you may be able to do it next week anyway without needing credits. I don't know for sure that they are doing it this year, all I can suggest is that you check in regularly and see.0 -
Have you tried Friends Reunited? You might be able to find her on there and then for a £5 yearly fee you can contact her (or any other person you might find on there).2008 Comping ChallengeWon so far - £3010 Needed - £230Debt free since Oct 20040
